Ms. Olympia is the title given to the winner of the women’s bodybuilding portion of Joe Weider's Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend—an international professional bodybuilding competition that was held annually by the International Federation of BodyBuilders (IFBB). It was first held in 1980.

The 1980 Ms. Olympia contest was an IFBB professional bodybuilding competition was held in August 30, 1980, at the Sheraton Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was the 1st Ms. Olympia competition held. Lorie Johnston was the youngest person to ever compete as a Ms. Olympia competitor, at the age of 17 years.[1] Rachel McLish was the winner of this first Ms. Olympia title.

Cory Everson won the Ms. Olympia contest six years in a row from 1984 to 1989.[2]
