ABBA was a Swedish pop group, active between 1970 and 1983, consisting of Agnetha Fältskog, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Its song Waterloo won the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. The group's name is an acronym of the first letters of their first names.
